Welcome to Shur’tugal!

Shur’tugal is a new and active Inheritance RP forum! If you’re not familiar with RP forums, it means that if you’re a fan of Eragon and that you enjoy writing, that you can create your very own character and write your own adventure with other people doing the same in the world of Alagaesia!

We’ve just built this new forum from scratch and are still working out some bugs, but it’s officially open and you can read our Rules & Information and then submit your own Character Application. Why do we require character applications you ask? It’s simple; we don’t tell you what to be, we just want the standards of our forum to be on the same level for every writer, so we encourage you all to think deeply about your character and actually become them while you’re here.

Also, with the absence of a plot we do not confine you to one story or another. Make your Alagaesia the way you want it to be! This means that if you have an idea for an entire plot then you only have to write within your own plot! Your world could have one dragon rider, or have a thousand! No limits. If you want somebody to RP with, all you have to do is visit the Roleplay Requests forum and post a thread telling others about what storyline you’d like to follow.

Of course, if you’d just like to follow the classic Inheritance storyline up to Brisingr simply begin posting anywhere in Alagaesia. Don’t forget to write [open] in any of your thread titles so everyone knows they can join in!

Like I said, we have just started up, and it may look dead but the staff is always on and we are also active posters with years of fan fiction experience. So hurry and sign up, submit your character, introduce yourself, and above all else; make your Alagaesia the way you want it to be!
